How to qualify for a vision therapy treatment scholarship
Does My Child’s Treatment Qualify?
Evidence-based vision therapy provided by a qualified optometrist is eligible. This includes treatment for diagnoses such as convergence insufficiency, vision related learning disorders, focusing and tracking issues and visual processing issues.
The following do not qualify for application for a vision therapy treatment scholarship:
- Treatment not provided by a qualified doctor of optometry
- Syntonics
- Sensory Learning Program
- Treatments for Dyslexia
- Treatments for Autism
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Therapy
- Tutoring
- Any other treatment that is not evidence-based vision therapy as determined by The Beyond 20/20 Project.

Do I qualify financially?
The Beyond 20/20 Project uses the following guidelines to determine financial need.
Scholarships will be awarded on a sliding scale based on the above guidelines.

Application for a vision therapy treatment scholarship does not guarantee the awarding of scholarship funds. Scholarships will be awarded based on board approval, need, and funding available.
